GAdzhikov Junior Tennis Physical Training & Fitness Program 6–11 The GAdzhikov Tennis Physical Training & Fitness Program 6–11 is designed to build the athletic foundation of young tennis players through structured, age-appropriate physical development. The program focuses on improving speed, agility, coordination, balance, endurance, strength, flexibility, and injury prevention to prepare players for the demands of modern tennis. Suitable for beginner to intermediate players aged 6–11, the program helps young athletes improve movement skills, physical conditioning, and overall on-court performance in a safe and progressive way. Training sessions combine athletic development exercises, bodyweight strength work, tennis-specific movement drills, speed and agility training, coordination exercises, cardio conditioning, and mobility work. The program requires minimal equipment and can be performed on tennis courts, parks, backyards, indoor spaces, or beaches. Why Physical Training Matters Tennis requires repeated sprinting, fast direction changes, balance, coordination, and endurance during long training sessions and matches. A strong athletic foundation improves movement efficiency, supports technical development, and helps reduce injury risk. At GAdzhikov Performance Tennis, we focus on long-term athletic development to help young players become stronger, faster, and more confident athletes. Program Structure 26-week progressive periodization plan - 12 structured training sessions - 5 development areas: - Athletic Development - Physical Conditioning - Cardio Training - Speed & Agility - Mobility & Flexibility 2–3 training sessions per week Each session includes a dynamic warm-up, main training section, and cool-down recovery.
